Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines, including the preparation of complex journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Oversee and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage and reconcile balance sheet accounts, such as fixed assets, and accounts payable, ensuring accuracy and identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly.
  • Prepare and file tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and other relevant taxes, collaborating with external tax advisors when necessary.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, showcasing a strong foundation in accounting principles.
  • Possesses a minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, demonstrating a track record of handling complex accounting tasks.
  • Has a CPA certification or equivalent, indicating a commitment to professional standards and ethical conduct.
  • Exhibits strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP), highlighting technical skills.
