Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reading and fully understanding the construction drawings and explaining them clearly and accurately to technicians and specialized workers.
• Ensuring productivity is achieved and assigning daily tasks to technical labor in coordination with the site foremen.
• Providing subcontractors or in-house teams with required materials, equipment, or tools to carry out their assigned works by preparing material requests, getting them approved by the site engineer, and following up on their issuance from the store.
• Receiving completed works from subcontractors and in-house foremen and notifying the site engineer to start the inspection and handover procedures with the consultant.
• Ensuring adherence to the approved method of statement for each activity, following the correct sequence of work, and preventing the start of any activity before receiving and approving the preceding one.
• Supervising concrete casting works on site, verifying the delivered concrete type, quantity, and grade, taking concrete cubes for testing, and ensuring the formwork is executed correctly with the proper thicknesses.
• Assigning and distributing technical and auxiliary labor to activities in the required numbers, monitoring their presence and performance, and signing the labor attendance sheet at the end of the workday after verifying completion of assigned tasks and obtaining the approval of the site engineer.
• Preparing the required daily report for the assigned work area and submitting it to the responsible site engineer.
• Receiving the necessary equipment for work execution (vibrators, generators, etc.), ensuring they are in good working condition when collected from the equipment store, and returning them immediately after completing their use.
• Performing any additional tasks assigned by the site engineer according to experience and capability, and reporting any difficulties or issues before taking action, along with proposing suitable solutions.

Job Requirements:

Technical Skills

• Ability to read and interpret construction and shop drawings accurately.
• Solid knowledge of concrete works, formwork systems, and reinforcement installation.
• Good understanding of construction sequences, quality standards, and method statements.
• Ability to prepare daily reports and document site activities effectively.
• Familiarity with concrete testing procedures (slump test, cube test, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of site equipment and tools (vibrators, generators, scaffolding, etc.).

Soft Skills

• Strong leadership and team-management skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities with engineers, foremen, and workers.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to propose practical solutions.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and within tight schedules.
