Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Manage administration of high-value design and construction contracts, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and legal standards.
- Ensure contract compliance, performance, and delivery within agreed timelines and budgets.
- Monitor and report on contract and commercial matters, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions.
- Provide guidance to project teams on contractual issues to support successful delivery.
- Oversee preparation and processing of contract documents, amendments, variations, and claims.
- Handle resolution of complex contract disputes using effective negotiation strategies.
- Collaborate with legal teams on claims, delays, and risk mitigation.
- Act as the main point of contact for contract-related legal matters.
- Supervise junior contracts administrators and support their development.
- Support the Commercial Manager in managing team performance and alignment with organizational goals.
- Coordinate with stakeholders including project management, contractors, procurement, and legal teams.
- Lead negotiations for new contracts, renewals, and extensions.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive contract records for compliance and auditing.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management on contract status, risks, and financials.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, ADA policies, and international standards.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to cost, timelines, and performance.
- Manage contract variations, scope changes, and approvals.
- Monitor contract costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Work with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure proper contract execution.
- Ensure legal compliance and timely resolution of contractual matters.
Requirements and Skills

- Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
- Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with multitasking capability.
- High attention to detail in managing complex documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract/project management software.
- Deep knowledge of construction contracts, contract law, and legal terminology.
- Expertise in dispute resolution, risk management, and claims handling.
- Familiarity with Abu Dhabi regulatory frameworks and standards.

- Proven experience managing large-scale, high-value contracts, preferably in aviation, infrastructure, or government sectors.
