Primary Purpose of the Job

Carries out, supervises and co-ordinates the provision of drawing and design service to meet the requirement of engineering, maintenance and modification of Refining Operations plants and equipment. Develops, manages, and maintains all aspects of documentation control (electronic & hard copy files) including philosophies, strategies, specifications, procedures and the design and implementation of a comprehensive documentation service. Responsible for coordinating Management of Change (MOC) processing and approval including preparation of As-built drawings, data sheets and other associated documents. Ensure correct level of accuracy and quality of presentation and that all drawings conform as per approved standards, specification and design requirement. Provide information on Company standards to be used and the applicable numbering system. Also provide assistance to check and comment on incoming work from Contractor/vendor and review submission with the responsible discipline engineer. Liaison with project engineers to ensure correct and final handing over of project deliverables as built (Dossiers, drawings etc.).

Required Experience and Skills

• Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
• Good Knowledge of computerized Technical Document Management system (TDMS) and Electronic Document System (EDMS). A good level computer skill to set up application of Access, Excel with a good working knowledge of AutoCAD.MS project.
• 12 Year experience in design work in a drawing office of a major petro-chemical design contracting organization including preferably at least 5 years in Drawing Office Supervisory post. Must be fully conversant with current international recognized standards and Codes of Practice related to the Petrochemical industry.
• With good knowledge and exposures in electrical, instrumentation and piping materials for oil and gas refining facilities or petrochemical industry.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME).
