Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment in the manufacturing plant.

  • Ensure smooth operation of pipe manufacturing machinery as per production plans.

  • Coordinate with mechanical and production teams for maintenance and breakdown activities.

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of machines.

  • Monitor and improve equipment performance and efficiency.

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.

  • Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment.

  • Lead preventive and breakdown maintenance of solid state HF welding machines, maintenance of tube mill drives (AC/DC motors), and maintenance of cold saw machines.

  • Ensure minimum downtime in production operations.

  • Maintain spares and manage critical inventory levels.

  • Monitor power consumption and optimize energy usage.

  • Lead, guide, and supervise electricians.

  • Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.

  • Minimum 3–8 years of experience as Electrical & Maintenance Engineer in the pipe manufacturing industry is Mandatory

  • Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and machinery.

  • Experience with PLCs, drives, and industrial automation is an advantage.

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
