Job Description
- Sr Engineer Asset Management - SCMS
- Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering
- Min 6 years experience in asset maintenance management with specialization in Substation Control & Monitoring System (SCMS) and associated auxiliaries. Candidates shall have knowledge/experience in the following areas:
- Thorough knowledge of relevant international standards, design, installation, testing, and maintenance of SCMS & RTU equipment in 400/132/11KV transmission & distribution networks
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills to ensure system reliability through effective monitoring of maintenance activities
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills and report writing skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Comprehensive understanding of safety protocols and practices in electrical substations
- Proficiency in Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), asset management standards, asset criticality, and risk management processes
- Skilled in using MS Office applications and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), preferably SAP
- Experience in overseeing comprehensive maintenance planning, follow-up on maintenance executions, spare parts management, accurate recording of maintenance history and updating asset registers
- Monitoring equipment performance and asset life cycle costs for optimum utilization
- (Gulf experience preferred).
