Sr Engineer Asset Management - Power System Protection

Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering

• Thorough knowledge of relevant international standards, primary and secondary drawings for substations, testing and maintenance of various types of relay panels & DC system

• Analysis of trip incidents, failures, alarms, maloperations related to Protection, DC and DFR equipment and propose refurbishment plans

• Study of OEM Root cause analysis reports and provide recommendations

• Provide recommendation for maintenance, refurbishment and replacement decisions.

• Hands on experience on Numerical relays and its functionalities, DC, DFR systems and Energy meters.

• Hands on Experience in fault analysis in transmission power networks

• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills to ensure system reliability through effective monitoring of maintenance activities

• Excellent verbal/written communication skills and report writing skills

• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment

• Comprehensive understanding of safety protocols and practices in electrical substations

• Proficiency in Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), asset management standards, asset criticality, and risk management processes

• Skilled in using MS Office applications and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), preferably SAP

• Experience in overseeing comprehensive maintenance planning, follow-up on maintenance executions, spare parts management, accurate recording of maintenance history, and updating asset registers

• Monitoring equipment performance and asset life cycle costs for optimum utilization
