Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and analysis of piping systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
  • Review and approve piping design calculations, drawings, and specifications.
  • Conduct material selection and ensure that all piping materials meet project requirements.
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of piping systems within the overall project framework.
  • Participate in risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for piping-related issues.
  • Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of piping systems at project sites.
  • Provide technical mentorship and support to junior engineers and project teams.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in piping engineering.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in piping engineering and design, with a strong background in the oil and gas industry.
  • Expertise in using piping design software, such as AutoCAD, PDMS, or equivalent.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASME, ASTM, ANSI, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and mentoring experience with junior engineers.
