Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement QA/QC plans, inspection test plans (ITPs), and quality procedures.

  • Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.

  • Conduct site inspections and coordinate with consultants and clients for approvals.

  • Prepare and maintain quality documentation, reports, and records.

  • Ensure all materials used meet project requirements and standards.

  • Identify non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive actions.

  • Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, and project managers to resolve quality issues.

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and safety standards.

  • Participate in internal and external audits.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

  • Minimum 5–10 years of experience in QA/QC for construction projects.

  • Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, standards, and documentation.

  • Experience in handling inspections, audits, and client coordination.

  • Familiarity with international standards (ISO, ASTM, etc.).

  • Good communication and reporting skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.


Preferred:

  • Experience in GCC/Oman projects.

  • Certification in QA/QC or ISO standards is an advantage.

  • Membership in a recognized engineering body is a plus.
