Sr. Engineer – SDWAN L2 eMinds

Etisalat by e&, a global technology group pioneering new technologies since 1976, is looking for a Sr. Engineer – SDWAN L2. Driven by a vision to empower people through innovation and digitization, we aim to drive the digital future.

• Design and Implementation: Design, implement, and manage SD-WAN solutions, including components such as vManage, vBond, and vSmart.
• Configuration and Deployment: Execute end-to-end deployment of SD-WAN policies, templates, and orchestrators.
• Monitoring and Maintenance: Proactively monitor network performance, identify issues, and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshooting: Utilize command-line interface (CLI) tools and network analysers to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues within the SD-WAN environment.
• Quality of Service (QoS): Apply QoS principles to ensure optimal performance and manage network traffic effectively.
• Client Support: Provide second-line support for incidents and requests, ensuring timely resolution without breaching service level agreements (SLAs)
• Collaboration: Work closely with clients and other engineering teams to resolve issues and improve network performance.
• These responsibilities ensure that the SD-WAN infrastructure is robust, efficient, and capable of meeting the demands of modern network environments.
• Inventory , SOP creation, Diagram Inventory and Audit and compliance

Knowledge and Attributes:

• Ability to plan activities and projects well in advance, and takes into account possible changing circumstances.
• Ability to work well in a pressurized environment.
• Ability to work hard and put in longer hours when it is necessary.
• Ability to place clients at the forefront of all interactions, understanding their requirements, and creating a positive client experience throughout the total client journey.
• Additional skills proficiency such as (but not limited to) -
• Fortinet Firewalls / Cisco Nexus switches, ASR and ISR routers / Common routing protocols: BGP,OSPF, EIGRP / Network address translation / Configuring, monitoring and troubleshooting uplinks to ISPs for DIA, MPLS and P2P circuits .
