Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and enforcing site-specific HSE plans and procedures.

  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions.

  • Support preparation of Job Safety Analysis and Risk Assessments for construction activities.

  • Investigate incidents, and near misses; prepare reports & recommend preventive measures.

  • Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness sessions for site personnel.

  • Maintain HSE records including permits, inspection reports, and training logs.

  • Prepare weekly/monthly HSE performance reports for management.

  • Assist in developing and implementing emergency response plans and conduct drills.

  • Coordinate with project team to integrate safety into planning and execution.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Safety Management / Environmental Science.

  • Certification in HSE (NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA preferred).

  • Minimum 12 years of experience in HSE management in large scale construction projects. (Buildings / Villas / Highrise). Should have minimum 5 years relevant work experience (as HSE - Asst. Manager or Sr. Engineer)

  • Strong knowledge of local health and safety laws and international standards.

  • Excellent communication, training, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and implement corrective actions effectively.

  • OSH Qualification (NVQ level 4/5). NEBOSH Diploma. (Level 6 equivalent or above).

  • ISO-45001 Lead Auditor is required
