Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage, maintain, and monitor IT monitoring tools including:

  • OBM
  • NNMI
  • UCMDB (Universal Configuration Management Database)
  • NetScout
  • RUM (Real User Monitoring)
  • Network Automation Tools
  • AppDynamics or equivalent APM tools

Collaborate with various IT infrastructure, application, and security teams to ensure proactive monitoring coverage and incident detection.

Administer and configure monitoring policies, thresholds, event correlation rules, and dashboards for various platforms.

Maintain CMDB accuracy and ensure tight integration between monitoring, discovery, and automation tools.

Analyze monitoring gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize visibility and reduce incident response times.

Act as an SME for monitoring during audits, incidents, and project discussions.

Provide guidance to junior team members and support cross-functional training initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT monitoring or related infrastructure roles.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with enterprise monitoring tools listed above.
  • Proven experience working in large-scale, complex, and regulated environments (preferably banking or financial services).
  • Solid understanding of IT infrastructure (servers, networks, applications, databases) and how they interrelate.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
