Roles & Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy development, planning and monitoring

  • Support the development, review, and refresh of corporate strategy in collaboration with business leaders
  • Conduct environmental scans, market analysis, and benchmarking to inform strategic choices
  • Convert strategy into OKRs and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) with budgets and owners; align with capacity plans, product roadmap, pricing and channel/partnership motions.
  • Drive realisation via stage gated execution of strategic initiatives
  • Enforce Delegations of Authority (DOA), investment stage gates, and audit ready documentation; prepare IC/board materials as required.

Business Performance & KPIs

  • Define and monitor company-wide KPIs aligned with strategic objectives and transformation programs
  • Prepare executive dashboards and insights to support data-driven decision-making
  • Track progress of strategic initiatives and recommend course corrections as needed
  • Track pipeline growth, win/loss rates, annual run rate, utilisation, churn/expansion, DSO, billing accuracy, activation lead time, NPS/CES; publish executive dashboards and insights.

Process Development & Optimization

  • Map, assess, and redesign core business processes to improve efficiency, agility, and quality
  • Lead to Order (L2O): Definitions, solution scoping; approvals (DOA); contract readiness.
  • Order to Cash (O2C): order acceptance; service activation/provisioning, change orders; usage/subscription/milestone billing; credit control & collections.
  • Hire to Retire (H2R): technical onboarding, mandatory training/certifications, payroll and clearance.
  • Facilitate process harmonization across functions using standard methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
  • Identify automation or digitization opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve outcomes

Governance & Operating Model

  • Support development of governance structures, RACI matrices, and performance accountability models
  • Maintain the enterprise initiative portfolio (charters, value cases, dependencies, risks); chair monthly/quarterly reviews.
  • Define operating models and process ownership structures for new business functions or services
  • Incorporate Internal Audit recommendations; maintain decision logs and control evidence.

Agile coaching and ways of working

  • Establish Scrum/Kanban for cross functional squads (Quote to Activate, Bill to Collect, Hire to Onboard); define ceremonies, WIP limits and definitions of ready/done
  • Coach leaders and teams; measure throughput/lead time and adoption.

Change management and enablement

  • Execute comms and adoption plans; deliver training on new processes and OKR/AOP practices; provide hypercare during go lives.
  • Maintain a central repository of strategies, process maps, SOPs and playbooks.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Prepare strategic reports and presentations for C-suite and Board
  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment and manage communications around key initiatives

Desired Candidate Profile

ROLE OBJECTIVE

Sr. Manager, Strategy Planning & Process Development will lead the annual strategy cycle and drive operational excellence across Lead to Order, Order to Cash and Hire to Retire processes for Otech s core businesses - data centre, cloud services, cybersecurity and system integration. The role will partner with management/shareholders and functional leaders to translate strategic direction into OKRs, the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), budgets and execution roadmaps; govern an enterprise portfolio of initiatives; and establish process model governance, KPI cadences and continuous improvement programs that reduce cycle times, improve quality, accelerate service activation/provisioning, improve billing accuracy/DSO, and strengthen compliance.

The Sr. manager will build an agile, data driven culture and manage a small team to deliver measurable business outcomes.
