Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Primary Purpose of the Job
Provide mechanical engineering technical support to the projects, operation, maintenance, asset integrity, construction, and supply chain. Provide input to the Concept / FEED / Detail design work on asset development Projects carried out by Contractors, In-House and Major Project team.This is done to ensure that technical integrity is maintained at a highest standard aligned with Idd El-Shargi requirements in accordance with QatarEnergy Standards and Shell DEP's.
Required Experience and Skills
1. Minimum 10 years of experience in oil and gas offshore/ onshore industry both brownfield and greenfield in project execution including construction, commissioning, operation, maintenance, and field troubleshooting.2. Well conversant with engineering software such as PvElite, CodeCal, Compress, NozzlePro & Caesar II and Microsoft applications. Well conversant with international codes and standards.3. A good team player and shall have a good presentation, communication, and written skills. Interpersonal ability to work in multi-disciplinary team. Aptitude for taking initiative.4. Able to communicate effectively in written and spoken English.5. Working knowledge of company business processes and regulatory requirements.6. Able to manage and measure work using appropriate metrics and key performance indicators.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. A chartered engineer is preferred.
