Roles & Responsibilities

The Job Description

  • Lead functional design and configuration of Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials modules: GL, AP, AR, CM, FA, Expense Management.
  • Conduct fit-gap analysis and propose scalable solutions; configure Chart of Accounts, Ledgers, Legal Entities, Business Units, and accounting rules.
  • Define subledger accounting (SLA) and financial controls.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Tax, and Audit teams to translate business needs into functional specifications.
  • Conduct CRP, UAT, and end-user training; provide guidance to stakeholders.
  • Define functional requirements for integrations (Procurement, HR/Payroll, Banks, Legacy ERPs).
  • Support data migration (opening balances, suppliers, customers, assets) and validate financial reconciliation.
  • Configure financial/statutory reporting using OTBI and FRS.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP, local statutory regulations, and internal controls.
  • Support period close, reconciliation, and audits.
  • Provide post-go-live support; analyze defects and recommend process improvements.
  • Support Oracle updates and regression testing; maintain documentation and knowledge transfer.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements:

  • Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) processes.
  • Experience with multi-ledger, multi-currency, and multi-entity environments.
  • Knowledge of financial controls, approvals, and SoD.
  • Oracle Fusion Setup & Maintenance.
  • Subledger Accounting (SLA).
  • OTBI and Financial Reporting Studio.
  • Basic understanding of integrations (REST/SOAP, FBDI).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead workshops and explain complex concepts simply.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving ability.
  • Experience working in agile or waterfall ERP implementations.
  • Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or IT.
  • Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials certification (preferred).
  • CA / CPA / CMA qualification (advantage).

Nice to Have:

1-Experience in regulated industries (Healthcare, Banking, Insurance, Government).

2-Exposure to Oracle Fusion Procurement.
