Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of complex OutSystems applications, ensuring alignment with business requirements and architectural standards.

  • Integrate OutSystems applications with various third-party systems and APIs, ensuring seamless data exchange and functionality.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest OutSystems features and best practices, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of reusable components, modules, and libraries to promote code reusability and efficiency.

  • Participate in the planning and execution of software testing, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing, to ensure quality and reliability.

  • Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure OutSystems applications, utilizing best practices for performance and maintainability.

  • Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and translate business needs into technical solutions.

  • Perform code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior developers to foster a culture of excellence and knowledge sharing.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, debug code, and optimize application performance to ensure a smooth user experience.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a strong academic foundation is crucial.
  • Holds relevant certifications such as OutSystems Professional Web Developer and/or OutSystems Expert Developer, demonstrating a commitment to the platform.
  • Has a minimum of 5 years of experience in OutSystems development, showcasing a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Demonstrates experience in the Financial Services industry, with knowledge of banking, insurance, or investment management applications.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal, enabling effective communication with international teams and stakeholders.
  • Exhibits advanced technical skills in web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL.
  • Demonstrates strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
