Job Summary

KN International is seeking an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and monitoring project schedules, evaluating delay claims, and ensuring the timely and efficient execution of infrastructure and construction projects. A solid background in UAE-based projects and strong knowledge of planning software and contracts is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and check project construction schedules, progress reports, cash flow forecasts, and time extension (EOT) documentation.
• Develop and update project work programs and set milestones for each project phase.
• Monitor day-to-day progress, identify critical activities, and provide updates to project management.
• Generate and submit weekly and monthly reports detailing project progress, risks, and variances.
• Evaluate EOT claims submitted by contractors and perform detailed delay and forensic analyses.
• Conduct Time Impact Analysis (TIA) and Window Analysis to determine causes of delay and recommend contract-compliant resolutions.
• Support in the preparation of reports related to resettlement action plans, infrastructure, roads, bridges, pump stations, sub-stations, underground structures, high-rise buildings, and hospitality projects.
• Coordinate and advise on variations, additional works (VOs), and agreed valuations (AVVs).
• Maintain up-to-date dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) for effective project controls.
• Demonstrate sound knowledge in contracts management, particularly with FIDIC contracts.
• Communicate effectively with project teams, clients, and stakeholders regarding progress and delays.
