Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join our team. The role is responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules, ensuring proper planning and control of construction activities, and providing management with accurate reports to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6/MS Project.

Develop baseline programs, recovery schedules, and progress updates.

Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or risks with mitigation measures.

Prepare progress reports (daily, weekly, monthly) for management and clients.

Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and other departments to ensure alignment.

Analyse critical paths, resources, and cost impacts to support project performance.

Assist in claims preparation, time extension requests, and contractual reporting.

Participate in project review meetings with stakeholders.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering.

Minimum 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in planning within the construction industry.

Strong command of Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Office Suite.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Knowledge of FIDIC and construction contracts is a plus.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
