Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsible for cost estimation, quantity take-offs, billing, subcontractor management, and cost control for residential, commercial, or high-rise building projects. The role ensures financial control and profitability of the project while maintaining contractual compliance.

Quantity Take-off & Estimation

  • Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from drawings (BOQ preparation).
  • Review tender drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Assist in cost estimation and rate analysis.
  • Prepare material reconciliation statements.

2. Billing & Payments

  • Prepare client RA bills (Running Account Bills).
  • Verify and certify subcontractor bills.
  • Track and monitor payment status.
  • Maintain billing registers and documentation.

3. Cost Control

  • Monitor project budget and cost variations.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Track variations, extra items, and change orders.
  • Prepare cost comparison statements.

4. Contract Administration

  • Review subcontract agreements and work orders.
  • Assist in preparation of contractual claims and variations.
  • Maintain records for EOT and additional cost claims.
  • Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.

Preferred candidate profile BE/ BTECH CIVIL WITH EXP IN QATAR -GOVERNMENT PROJECTS -BUILDING PROJECTS -

  • BOQ preparation and rate analysis
  • AutoCAD (for quantity extraction)
  • MS Excel (advanced level)
  • Knowledge of billing procedures
  • Understanding of construction contracts
