Roles & Responsibilities

This role requires you to organise the forecasting demand of supplies to stores, create POs for replenishment and maintaining availability in the stores, with a team of demand planners to manage Back Office data.

  • Manage stock amounting to AED 20M while ensuring the issuance of ~ 8,000 POs weekly for stores and DC
  • Ensuring timely and accurate analysis and reporting of inventory and purchase forecasts
  • Provides DP/ replenishment insights and plans/ initiatives to keep availability at par with the management's business plan, accountable for the holding stock value, supplier service level. Aging stock optimization
  • Be able to provide solutions and initiatives to solve problems with stocks in the warehouse and stores
  • Guidance to store supervisors and admins to ensure smooth workflow
  • Guide the commercial and operations pro-actively to ensure supplies and suppliers are not affected.

Desired Candidate Profile

We re looking for a Sr. Specialist Demand Planner to join the team and focus on growing our own Grocery Store tMart , which is the region s first cloud store concept offering 30-minute delivery of groceries at hypermarket prices. The service has expanded rapidly across Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, Jordan, Bahrain, Egypt, Oman and Iraq

  • Organize the transition to 3PL, manage relations, and secure Talabat with Egypt best practices.
  • Be accountable for the overall demand planning/replenishment of Tmart stores and warehouses in Egypt and the performance of the direct reports
