Sr. Structural Design & Supervision Engineer

Job Description

Review and approve contractor structural/civil technical submittals, shop drawings, and calculations, including reinforcement, scaffolding, precast, and waterproofing systems.

Provide technical support and guidance to site inspection teams.

Respond to RFIs and coordinate with design teams and other disciplines.

Conduct technical research and prepare technical reports.

Follow up on site observations and non-compliance issues.

Review structural analysis models, design calculations, and BIM models.

Participate in site visits and technical meetings with project teams.

Work independently and collaboratively to complete assigned supervision activities.

Provide approvals for contractors’ structural technical submissions.

Coordinate with internal disciplines regarding supervision and project coordination matters.

Support inspection teams in resolving on-site technical issues.

Develop innovative solutions for site clashes and technical challenges with proper supporting documentation.

Coordinate with design teams regarding specialist package approvals and authority requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in civil or Structural Engineering.

Proven experience in structural supervision projects.

Strong knowledge of international/ structural codes and standards.

Proficiency in structural engineering software such as AutoCAD, SAP2000, ETABS, and SAFE.

Basic knowledge of BIM and Autodesk Revit.

Familiarity with local authorities’ regulations and approval processes.

Excellent communication, coordination, and presentation skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work effectively both independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
