Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and coordinate architectural shop drawings, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to resolve technical issues and provide architectural solutions.
  • Oversee the preparation of material submittals, method statements, and technical documentation for architectural works.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, verify implementation of architectural designs, and ensure quality control.
  • Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of architectural elements.
  • Review and interpret project contracts, drawings, and specifications to identify discrepancies and propose corrective actions.
  • Assist in preparing project schedules, progress reports, and documentation for management and client review.
  • Support value engineering initiatives by proposing cost-effective and innovative architectural solutions.
  • Ensure all architectural work adheres to local building codes, safety regulations, and company quality standards.
  • Participate in project meetings, providing technical input and updates on architectural deliverables.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
  • 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in a technical office or architectural engineering role.
  • Proven experience in preparing and reviewing architectural shop drawings and technical documentation.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and methods.
  • Excellent coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams (structural, MEP, etc.).
  • Familiarity with local building codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural design software.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work full-time, on-site, and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
