Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:-
Provide advice and guidance on the appropriate risk mitigation measures required for operational and intergity related to Technical/ Process safety issues
Provide guidance, development and lateral learnign to other TSE in the department.
Participate in revews and audits in order to facilitate lateral learning and ensure gaps in the system are addressed.
Provide guidance on compliance with company standards and Oman legislation related to process safety hazards and seeking discipline approval for steps-outs.
Developing HSE cases and supporting TSE discipline and inter discipline checks and reviews of engineering and design work.
contribute to update of relevent safetry engineering standards
Carrying out appropriate TSE review af engingeering and design work

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualfication Required:-br>Min 8 Year of Technical Safery Engineering / Process safety br> /p>

Skilled in physical effects modelling and quantitative risk assessment, expereince with SHE FRED and SHEPHERD softwarebr>ability to prepare, lead Technical Safety Engineering workshop, such as HAZID, Bow-ties, ALARP, SIMOPs and facility layout and siting, br>Knowledge of HAZOP and SIL classificationbr>Able to develop ALARP demonstations for Technical/ Process Safety risks and developing HSE Casesbr>Knowlegde is Shell standard and guideleines, including sour Gas desgin and operation standard guidelinesbr>Project Technical Safety Management implementation and project executionbr>Knowledge of fire protection standards amd guidelinesbr>good communicatorbr>Proven Mentoring and Coaching skillsbr>Good abnd able to prepare technical reports in English/p>
