Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
As an SSU Associate, you will support the Self-Supervisory Unit's efforts to ensure that Tweeq operates in full alignment with SAMA's governance and oversight framework. You will assist in monitoring internal compliance, supporting documentation efforts, and helping ensure that regulatory and internal policy obligations are met. Working under the guidance of the SSU Manager, you will contribute to maintaining a strong culture of transparency, integrity, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing and maintaining the documentation, processes, and systems required to support compliance with SAMA regulations.
- Support collaboration efforts across departments to help resolve issues that may impact SSU performance.
- Help identify and recommend improvements to SSU procedures and workflows.
- Contribute to the exploration and adoption of tools or technology that can enhance SSU efficiency.
- Help track and respond to gaps or issues raised internally or by SAMA in a timely and accurate manner.
- Support the completion of requests from SAMA, ensuring data and documentation accuracy.
- Assist in preparing monthly and annual reports in coordination with the team.
- Adhere to Tweeq's Code of Conduct and Ethics and promote the organization's values.
- Comply with all applicable internal policies, procedures, and governance standards.
- Contribute to knowledge-sharing within the team and support professional development initiatives.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding SSU activities, information, and materials, both during and after employment.
- Help ensure that SSU activities comply with approved policies and procedures at all times.
- Ensuring ongoing compliance with the approved policies, procedures, and standards of the Self-Supervision Unit (SSU) and guiding relevant activities to maintain compliance at all times.
Desired Candidate Profile
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Up to 2 years of experience in compliance, risk, internal audit, or regulatory roles; internship or trainee experience is acceptable.
- Basic understanding of governance, internal controls, and regulatory frameworks; familiarity with SAMA standards is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under supervision and maintain objectivity in carrying out responsibilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with professionalism in written and verbal interactions.
- Proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to confidentiality.
- Proficiency in both Arabic and English is required.
