Roles & Responsibilities
What Youu2019ll Be Doing:
- Creating and optimizing design flows and solutions to meet aggressive PPA targets for high-frequency cores, and high-capacity AI/compute designs.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with customers, R&D, and internal teams to drive innovative solution and feature development that anticipates and addresses real-world design challenges.
- Utilizing scripting languages such as Perl and Tcl for automation and optimization tasks.
- Staying updated with the latest advancements in ASIC design flow, VLSI, and CAD development to continually improve processes.
- Delivering technical presentations, application notes, and best practices to both internal and external stakeholders, supporting knowledge-sharing and customer enablement.
- Diagnosing customer issues, providing hands-on support, and ensuring successful deployment of Synopsys EDA solutions in complex design environments.
- Providing critical support that helps key customers overcome their PPA challenges.
- Fostering strong relationships with global customers, reinforcing Synopsys' reputation as a leader in chip design and software security.
- Develop and strengthen long-term relationships with customers
- Work collaboratively with Customers to ensure their successful use of Synopsys products, sustain a renewals revenue stream and cultivate opportunities to expand software licenses.
What Youu2019ll Need:
- Masteru2019s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Deep understanding of RTL-to-GDSII flows and hands-on experience with backend P&R tools (Fusion Compiler, ICC2, or similar).
- Expertise in physical synthesis, timing closure, clock tree synthesis (CTS), and routing at advanced technology nodes.
- Proficiency in Tcl and Python scripting for automating EDA workflows and optimizing design methodologies.
- Strong understanding of ASIC design flow, VLSI, and CAD development.
