Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care for critically ill cardiac patients in CCU
  • Continuously monitor ECG, cardiac rhythms, and vital signs
  • Administer cardiac medications, infusions, and emergency drugs safely
  • Manage patients with:
    • Acute Coronary Syndrome / Myocardial infarction
    • Heart failure
    • Life-threatening arrhythmias
    • Post-cardiac interventions and procedures
  • Respond promptly to cardiac emergencies, including Code Blue situations
  • Assist in advanced resuscitation and emergency procedures (CPR, defibrillation)
  • Operate and manage critical care equipment (monitors, defibrillators, infusion pumps, ventilators)
  • Collaborate closely with cardiologists, intensivists, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care
  • Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, treatment, and recovery
  • Maintain compliance with SKMC standards, infection control, and patient safety protocols

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements Education

  • Bachelor s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution

License

  • Valid UAE Nursing License (DOH preferred) or eligibility to practice in Abu Dhabi

Experience

  • Minimum 2 3 years of recent experience in CCU or Cardiac Care Unit
  • Strong exposure to critically ill cardiac patients
