Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in medical and surgical wards.
  • Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, and progress, reporting changes promptly.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Assist with pre-operative and post-operative care, including wound management.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, recovery, and discharge instructions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and interventions.
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Adhere to infection control and safety protocols at all times.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.

  • Licensure: Valid DHA/DOH/MOH license or eligibility in the UAE.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in medical/surgical ward nursing (UAE/GCC experience preferred).
  • Certifications:
    • Basic Life Support (BLS)
    • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (preferred)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
