STAFF PHYSICIAN IN THE DEPARTMENT OF MEDICAL ONCOLOGY

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in providing patient care in Adult Medical Oncology, under supervision of the most responsible physician (MRP), (ward rounds, clinics, and on-calls).
• Participate in consultations to other specialties in the hospital under supervisor of the senior members of the division and the MRP.
• Assists in performing Bone marrow aspirates and other related procedures under supervision of the senior members of the division and the MRP.
• Learns and then assists in prescribing and administering medications (chemotherapeutic agents), under supervision of the senior members of the division and the MRP.
• Participate in the department/division educational activities (journal club, tumor board, lectures, etc.)
• Participate in the department/division research activities.
• Participate in the hospital/department committees upon request.
• Participate in training and educations of rotating residents.
• Perform and cover other duties as delegated by the chairman of division head.
• Adhere strictly to all hospital policies and procedures.
• Perform other job related duties.

Education:Bachelor Degree from a recognized medical school from an accredited institution - Essential

Work Experience:Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in a recognized hospital/institution - Preferred

A registered member of Saudi Board Council - Essential

• English Language: Level I - Essential
• Arabic Language: Preferred
• Computer: Level II - Preferred
