Roles & Responsibilities
Position Overview
We are recruiting a Physician in Obesity Medicine to join a comprehensive metabolic health program, focusing on medical weight management and metabolic disorders.
Clinical Scope
- Management of:
- Obesity and metabolic syndrome
- Type 2 diabetes and insulin resistance
- Cardiometabolic risk factors
- Development of personalized weight management plans
- Pharmacological and lifestyle interventions
Service Structure
- Multidisciplinary obesity program including:
- Dietitians
- Bariatric surgeons
- Endocrinologists
- Long-term patient follow-up and monitoring
Additional Responsibilities
- Patient education and behavioral counseling
- Participation in prevention programs
- Contribution to service development
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements
- Background in Internal Medicine / Family Medicine / Endocrinology
- Experience or certification in Obesity Medicine
- DOH eligibility
