Roles & Responsibilities
Position Overview
A Pain Medicine Physician role within a multidisciplinary pain management service, managing both acute and chronic pain conditions.
Clinical Scope
- Management of:
- Chronic pain syndromes
- Neuropathic pain
- Musculoskeletal pain
- Perform interventional procedures:
- Nerve blocks
- Epidural injections
- Pain interventions
Service Structure
- Collaboration with:
- Anesthesiology
- Orthopedics
- Neurology
- Multidisciplinary pain clinics
Additional Responsibilities
- Patient education and rehabilitation planning
- Participation in MDT care
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements
- Qualification in Pain Medicine / Anesthesia / PM&R
- Interventional experience preferred
- DOH eligibility
