Job Description

Principle Duties :

• Participate in providing patient care in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, under supervision of the senior members of the division and the MRP, (ward rounds, clinics, on-calls).
• Participate in consultations to other specialties in the hospital, under supervision of the senior members of the division and the MRP.
• Assists in performing Bone marrow aspirates, biopsies, and other related procedures under supervision of the senior members of the division and the most responsible physician MRP.
• Learns and then assists in prescribing and administering medications (chemotherapeutic agents), under supervision of the senior members of the division and the MRP.
• Participate in the department 1 division educational activities (journal club, tumor board lectures ,Participate in the department / division research activities.
• Participate in the hospital / department committees upon request, Participate in training and education of rotating residents.
• Perform and cover other duties as delegated by the chairman or division head.
• Adhere strictly to all hospital policies and procedures.
• Performs other job related duties as assigned.
