Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 3D models of steel bar reinforcement for concrete structures, ensuring accuracy and constructability.
- Interpret structural drawings, specifications, and other project documents to accurately model steel bar arrangements.
- Generate detailed shop drawings, bar bending schedules, and material lists for fabrication and installation.
- Coordinate with structural engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to resolve design conflicts and ensure project requirements are met.
- Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts between steel reinforcement and other building elements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project-specific requirements.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date project documentation, including model files and drawings.
- Review and approve shop drawings submitted by subcontractors, ensuring compliance with design intent.
- Assist in the preparation of quantity take-offs and cost estimates for steel reinforcement.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Proficiency in using detailing software such as Revit, Tekla Structures, or AutoCAD is essential.
- Demonstrates strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex structural drawings.
- Exhibits meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
