Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and erection drawings for steel structures using AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, or other detailing software.

  • Review and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to ensure accurate detailing.
  • Generate material lists (BOQ/MTO) and ensure quantities match design requirements.
  • Coordinate with the design team, structural engineers, and project managers to resolve technical issues.
  • Follow up with the fabrication team to clarify any discrepancies or modifications.
  • Perform revisions and update drawings according to client comments and site requirements.
  • Ensure all drawings are delivered on time and meet the required quality standards.
  • Coordinate with production engineers at the factory for any missing structural detail.
  • Provide and gather all the required technical support such as drawings manuals and instructions for the construction team.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

  • 2 5 years of experience in steel detailing or steel fabrication industry.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, or similar detailing software.
  • Solid understanding of steel structure behavior, connections, and fabrication processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of design construction codes and standard.
