Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Accurately interpret and implement blueprints to ensure precise steel reinforcement according to structural specifications.
  • Cut, bend, and shape steel bars and wires using specialized tools, ensuring they meet project requirements for strength and durability.
  • Secure steel bars in place using ties and clamps, ensuring stability and adherence to safety regulations during construction.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other construction professionals to resolve any design discrepancies and optimize reinforcement methods.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in construction or related fields is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in steel fixing or concrete reinforcement in a construction environment.
  • Certification in safety practices and procedures, such as OSHA, to ensure compliance with workplace regulations.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans accurately.
