Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Cut, bend, and fix steel bars and mesh into place according to construction plans.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints for precise steel reinforcement placement.
- Ensure proper alignment and secure steel reinforcements using various tools and fastening methods.
- Adhere to safety regulations and collaborate with other construction workers to complete tasks efficiently.
Desired Candidate Profile
On-the-job experience in construction and knowledge of steel fixing techniques, often gained through vocational training or apprenticeships.
Ability to read blueprints, use steel fixing tools, perform accurate calculations, and maintain physical fitness for heavy lifting.
Basic safety certifications (e.g., OSHA) and understanding of construction safety regulations.
Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with engineers and construction teams effectively.
