• Perform inspection and quality control of steel structure fabrication and erection activities

• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements

• Review and verify material certificates (MTC), test reports, and inspection records

• Conduct dimensional checks, alignment inspections, and fit-up inspections

• Monitor welding activities and ensure compliance with approved WPS/PQR and welding procedures

• Coordinate and witness NDT activities (UT, RT, MT, PT) as per project requirements

• Ensure proper surface preparation, painting, and coating inspections are carried out

• Raise inspection requests (IRs) and coordinate with client/consultant for approvals

• Identify non-conformances (NCR) and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented

• Maintain proper QA/QC documentation, reports, and records

• Ensure compliance with project QA/QC plans, ITPs, and international standards

• Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors for quality-related matters

Desired Candidate Profile – Steel Structure QC

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Civil Engineering

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in steel structure fabrication and erection (Oil & Gas preferred)

• Strong knowledge of steel structure drawings, fabrication processes, and erection methods

• Familiar with welding standards (AWS, ASME) and inspection procedures

• Experience in NDT coordination and interpretation of reports

• Knowledge of QA/QC procedures, ITPs, and inspection documentation

• Familiar with international standards and client specifications (ADNOC preferred)

• Certification in CSWIP / BGAS / NDT (preferred but not mandatory)

• Good understanding of surface treatment and coating inspections

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Good communication skills in English (spoken and written)

• Ability to work in site conditions and coordinate with multiple teams

• Immediate joiners preferred
