Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepares sterile medications (e.g., chemotherapy and parenteral nutrition) as prescribed and under the supervision of the Pharmacist in Charge
- Maintains cleanliness of the Sterile Preparation Unit, including the Biological Safety Cabinet (BSC) and Laminar Airflow Hood
- Ensures regular physical and microbiological monitoring of the cleanroom, BSC, and Laminar Airflow Hood
- Disposes of chemotherapy waste safely according to procedures
- Ensures the unit is stocked with necessary preparation supplies
- Participates in training, meetings, and projects related to the Sterile Preparation Unit
Job Requirements:
- B.S. in Nursing or Medical Laboratory plus 6 months on-the-job training
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work accurately with medications
- Good Arabic and English; French is a plus
- Computer literate
