Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Manage and oversee daily accounting operations related to inventory, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Monitor and reconcile inventory records, investigating discrepancies and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Prepare and maintain detailed inventory reports, including stock levels, movements, and valuations.
Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to ensure accurate inventory tracking and timely updates.
Conduct periodic physical inventory counts and audits to verify stock accuracy and integrity.
Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control procedures and best practices.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes by providing accurate inventory data and analysis.
Analyze inventory trends, identify areas for improvement, and recommend strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce costs.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with external auditors during inventory audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance.
3-5 years of proven experience in accounting and inventory control, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and inventory management systems.
Proficiency in using accounting software ( Odoo ) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity of financial information.
Willingness to work on-site in a fast-paced office environment.
