Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Monitor and follow up on item movements inside the warehouses (receiving issuing returns).
  • Accurately record all warehouse transactions in the system in a timely manner.
  • Follow up on the minimum stock level in branches and coordinate with the production department to ensure the availability of essential items and avoid any shortages.
  • Verify the accuracy of received and issued quantities and ensure they match the official documents.
  • Participate in periodic stock-taking and analyze inventory variances.
  • Prepare daily and monthly reports on stock balances, shortages, and surpluses.
  • Coordinate with the Procurement, Sales, and Finance departments to ensure data accuracy and workflow integration.
  • Monitor product shelf life, expiration dates, and slow-moving items.
  • Contribute to improving storage procedures and reducing waste.
  • Maintain accuracy and confidentiality of inventory data and adhere to approved policies and procedures.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Commerce or a relevant field related to accounting or inventory management.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Inventory Controller within FMCG or food companies.
  • Proficiency in Excel and inventory management systems, preferably with experience in SAP or SalesBuzz.
  • High attention to detail in data entry and stock reconciliation.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work within a team and handle work pressure.
