Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure optimal inventory availability and accuracy.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies in inventory records.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams to facilitate smooth stock movement.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all stock transactions, including receipts, transfers, and dispatches.
- Implement and uphold inventory control procedures to minimize losses and prevent stockouts.
- Analyze inventory data to forecast demand and recommend replenishment strategies.
- Oversee the organization and storage of stock within the warehouse to maximize space and efficiency.
- Prepare and present inventory reports to management, highlighting trends and potential issues.
- Assist in the implementation of inventory management systems and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements related to stock management.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in stock control, inventory management, or warehouse operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with stocktaking procedures and inventory reconciliation.
- Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements and maintain accurate records.
- Willingness to work on-site in an office/warehouse setting.
