Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

Vehicle Stock Maintenance
Perform routine checks on parked vehicles including battery, tire pressure, and visual condition.
Report and attend to flat tires, discharged batteries, and fluid top-ups.
Ensure regular rotation and starting of long-parked vehicles to maintain condition.

Pre-Delivery Inspection Support
Conduct PDI inspections according to checklist under supervisor s guidance.
Install accessories, inspect underbody, lights, brakes, and interior/exterior quality.
Assist with defect reporting, tagging, and minor rectification.

Cleaning & Vehicle Readiness
Ensure vehicles are clean (interior/exterior) before final release.
Use approved cleaning materials and methods as per SOP.
Flag any vehicle requiring professional detailing or repair.

Tool Usage & Safety
Operate tools, jacks, battery boosters, and diagnostic devices safely.
Wear appropriate PPE and follow safety procedures.
Report any tool damage or malfunction immediately.

Recordkeeping & Coordination
Fill out inspection sheets, vehicle checklists, and job cards accurately.
Coordinate with transporters and stockyard staff for vehicle movement.
Communicate delays, issues, or unfit vehicles to the supervisor.
