Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the receipt, storage and dispatch of goods
  • Monitor stock levels and anticipate supply needs
  • Check the conformity of deliveries (quantity, quality, deadlines)
  • Set up and monitor regular inventories
  • Identify stock discrepancies and propose corrective actions
  • Implement stock management procedures to improve traceability and productivity
  • Optimize storage space and ensure the organization of the warehouse
  • Reduce costs related to overstocking and shortages
  • Use stock management software
  • Monitor performance indicators (breakage rate, stock turnover)
  • Establish regular reports on the state of stocks
  • Ensure communication with suppliers and carriers for delivery tracking
  • Work with accounting for stock valuation

Skills:

  • Knowledge of stock management methods (FIFO, LIFO, Kanban)
  • Mastery of IT tools (ERP, Excel, stock management software)
  • Knowledge of safety and hygiene standards in the warehouse

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Diploma: Bachelor's degree in management or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Stock Management
