Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

1) Inventory Management:

Receive materials and goods, verifying quantities and specifications.

Store materials in an organized and secure manner to ensure easy accessibility.

Monitor inventory levels and prepare regular reports on stock availability, shortages, or excesses.

Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times.

May require working outside normal hours, including weekends or night shifts, depending on emergency situations.

2) Record Keeping:

Update daily warehouse records electronically or manually.

Ensure accuracy of data and consistency with invoices and delivery notes.

3) Coordination with Other Departments:

Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely supply of materials.

Coordinate with production or sales teams to guarantee material availability when needed.

4) Inventory Control:

Conduct regular stock audits and ensure alignment with records.

Monitor expired or damaged stock and take appropriate actions.

5) Compliance with Policies and Procedures:

Adhere to safety and security procedures within the warehouse.

Apply company policies in receiving, storage, and issuing of materials.

Skills:

Inventory Accuracy: Ability to maintain precise stock levels and detailed records.

Organizational Skills: Strong ability to categorize, label, and structure warehouse items efficiently.

Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy in documentation, stock counts, and item verification.

Time Management: Prioritizes tasks effectively to meet deadlines and operational needs.

Communication Skills: Clear coordination with suppliers, procurement, and internal teams.

Problem-Solving: Ability to handle stock discrepancies, urgent requests, and unexpected shortages.

ERP & Software Skills: Proficiency in inventory systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).

Physical Capability: Ability to lift, move, and arrange materials when required.

Safety Awareness: Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and handling procedures.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications and Requirements:

Diploma degree in Business Management, Logistics, or related field.

Minimum One year of experience in warehouse or inventory management.

Proficiency in ERP systems or warehouse management software.

Strong organizational and documentation skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
