Role & responsibilities

Maintain accurate stock records using computer systems (Excel / ERP)

Receive materials and verify against purchase orders

Prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) and update records

Store materials properly with labeling and binning

Issue materials as per approved requests

Monitor stock levels and report shortages

Conduct periodic stock checks

Desired Candidate Profile

Mandatory Requirements (Strict Filter)

5-10 years hands-on machining experience

Strong experience in manual machines (Lathe, Milling, Radial Drill, Boring)

Ability to set, machine, and finish jobs independently

Strong knowledge of measuring instruments

Ability to read and execute engineering drawings accurately

Experience in handling and supervising machinists

Candidates must have proven experience in handling job work / workshop machining, including:

Machining of shafts, sleeves, flanges, and precision components

Experience in repair and rework jobs (restoration of worn parts)

Thread cutting experience (internal & external threads)

Facing, boring, drilling, and taper turning operations

Handling custom one-off jobs (not only production work)

Working with different materials (carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel)

Ability to manage urgent and breakdown jobs under pressure

Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in:

Oil & Gas / heavy engineering workshops

API thread work (IF, REG, API standards)

BOP or drilling equipment machining

Computer & Reporting

Basic knowledge of Excel / job tracking

Ability to maintain production and job records

Key Performance Expectations

Jobs completed accurately with minimal rework

On-time delivery of all machining work

High quality and dimensional accuracy

Efficient use of machines and manpower

Important Note :- Candidates without actual job work machining experience (repair + custom jobs) should not apply.
