Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock and supplies, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Organize and maintain inventory in the store, ensuring items are properly labeled and stored.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate timely reordering to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
- Issue materials and products to relevant departments based on requisitions and established procedures.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using manual logs and digital inventory management systems.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies with inventory records.
- Ensure the store area is clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely delivery and resolution of supply issues.
- Prepare and submit inventory reports to management as required.
- Assist in the implementation of inventory control procedures and continuous improvement initiatives.
Desired Candidate Profile
1-2 years of experience in storekeeping, inventory management, or a related field.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer applications.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to lift and move moderately heavy items as required.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Flexibility to work full-time, under limited supervision, and adapt to changing priorities.
