Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Receive raw materials (steel, sheets, metal sections) and verify their compliance with purchase orders and invoices.
  • Organize and store steel and metal materials in designated, safe, and accessible areas.
  • Monitor stock levels on a daily basis and record all incoming and outgoing transactions accurately.
  • Issue materials to production lines based on approved requisition forms.
  • Coordinate with the production department to ensure timely availability of required materials.
  • Supervise loading and unloading processes, ensuring safety of workers and equipment when handling heavy materials.
  • Prepare regular stock reports (opening balance received issued closing balance).
  • Conduct periodic stock counts and reconcile physical quantities with system records.
  • Apply safety and occupational health standards to prevent accidents inside the warehouse.
  • Maintain inventory quality and protect materials from damage, rust, or external factors.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree or relevant qualification (Commerce, Logistics, or equivalent preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse/store management, preferably in heavy industries or steel factories.
  • Good knowledge of warehouse management systems (ERP or similar).
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in industrial environments.
  • Strong awareness of safety procedures in handling heavy materials.
