Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery notes.
  • Ensure proper storage of materials in designated areas to prevent damage, loss, or deterioration.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, including material quantities, locations, and movements.
  • Issue materials to project sites or departments based on approved requests.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with system records.
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies to the Material Control Supervisor.
  • Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and organization of materials for easy identification.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the store and comply with safety and security protocols.
  • Prepare and submit regular inventory and stock movement reports.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Store Keeper, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Knowledge of construction materials, inventory management practices, and warehousing operations.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
