Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Nada Happiness Trading LLC is one of Oman’s leading FMCG companies, operating across wholesale, retail, and distribution channels. The Store Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring seamless store operations, effective team leadership, and achievement of both retail and wholesale sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Sales & Business Development Focus
- Drive store performance to achieve and exceed sales, margin, and profitability targets.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance; implement corrective actions where needed.
- Manage both wholesale and retail sales activities efficiently, ensuring accurate order processing and invoicing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers and retail customers.
- Support promotional activities and ensure proper execution of campaigns at store level.
Customer Service Focus
- Ensure exceptional service quality for both retail and wholesale customers.
- Handle customer queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Maintain customer satisfaction levels through feedback tracking and issue resolution.
- Ensure store team members uphold Nada Happiness’s customer service standards.
Inventory & Stock Management Focus
- Maintain accurate stock levels to meet sales demand while avoiding overstocking.
- Ensure proper implementation of FIFO and FEFO principles in all storage and display areas.
- Supervise regular stock counts and coordinate with the inventory and finance teams on discrepancies.
- Reduce shrinkage and losses through tight control and team accountability.
- Oversee replenishment of fast-moving items and ensure warehouse coordination for bulk orders.
Team Leadership & People Development Focus
- Lead, train, and motivate store teams including supervisors, sales associates, pickers, and checkers.
- Set clear performance expectations and monitor individual KPIs.
- Promote teamwork, discipline, and a positive work environment.
- Support staff development and succession planning through training and performance feedback.
Operational Excellence & Compliance Focus
- Ensure smooth daily store operations including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and shift planning.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and hygiene standards.
- Ensure store layout, product displays, and cleanliness meet company guidelines.
- Coordinate with finance for accurate billing, stock reconciliation, and reporting.
- Report operational issues, incidents, and maintenance needs to the Operations Manager.
Financial & Reporting Focus
- Monitor expenses, labor costs, and utilities within approved budgets.
- Review sales, stock, and expense reports to track financial performance.
- Prepare and submit periodic performance and incident reports to management.
- Ensure all POS and billing operations are accurate and aligned with finance procedures.
Desired Candidate Profile
The Store Manager oversees all day-to-day store activities, ensuring smooth coordination between wholesale and retail operations. This includes managing staff performance, optimizing inventory, maintaining visual and operational standards, driving sales growth, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The role demands strong leadership, attention to detail, and an ability to balance customer service excellence with operational and financial performance
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or related field (preferred).
· 5–8 years of experience in retail or wholesale store management (FMCG experience preferred).
· Strong leadership and staff management capabilities.
· In-depth understanding of retail operations, sales performance metrics, and stock control systems.
· Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
· Proficiency in MS Office and POS/ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics experience is an advantage).
· Strong customer orientation with ability to handle both individual and bulk clients.
· Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
