Store Manager

Role Purpose: To manage and direct the collective efforts of store personnel towards achieving store goals and objectives; ensure store productivity, efficiency, and profitability.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Lead, supervise, manage, train, and motivate store personnel in order to ensure efficiency in performance of assigned tasks

2. Handle personnel issues regarding schedules, task division, staff conflicts, absenteeism, and tardiness as well as performance evaluation

3. Establish sales strategies in order to achieve individual sales targets on one hand and that of the store on the other

4. Create short term and long term plans in order to maintain a consistent sales growth and thus consistent increase in profits

5. Ensure that all store personnel respect company rules and regulations as well as comply with established policies and procedures

6. Conduct Staff Meetings on a weekly basis

7. Ensure the accurate receipt and handling of shipments

8. Monitor inventory and supply levels; checking stock levels, anticipating needs, and ensuring availability of required inventory

9. Maintain store security; remain alert on theft activities and take measures accordingly

10. Communicate with Operation and Brand Managers regularly to keep them update of store and product issues consecutively

11. Prepare and Analyse various reports requested by management

12. Keep updated on company rules and regulations as well as policies and procedures and ensure compliance by store staff

13. Help solve problems that affect store s service, efficiency and productivity


Required Qualification and Skills:

University graduate with a degree in Business Management or any related field.

A minimum of 3 years experience in the same position preferably in the retail industry.

Computer literate with knowledge of standard office software applications

Computer literate with good knowledge of basic MS Office programs.

Fluent in English and Arabic. French is a plus.
