Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Provide strategic directions to Duty Managers and department supervisors to achieve branch-wide objectives.
2. Establish clear KPIs for each department and monitor progress through regular performance reviews.
3. Lead the development of a high-performing team culture focused on accountability, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
4. Support expansion goals, process improvements, and organizational development initiatives.
5. Oversee day-to-day operations across all departments, ensuring smooth workflow and effective task delegation.
6. Ensure staffing levels are adequate and aligned with operational needs, including approving schedules and managing manpower allocation.
7. Act as the main escalation point for all operational issues, employee complaints, and urgent matters reported by Duty Managers.
8. Ensure all statutory, internal, and compliance regulations are consistently met.
9. Monitor branch financial performance, including sales targets, cost control, shrinkage, wastage, and profitability.
10. Review daily sales reports and ensure accurate cash handling, reconciliation, and cashier discipline.
11. Prepare monthly operational reports and action plans for senior management.
12. Ensure the highest level of customer service standards across the branch.
13. Oversee the handling of major customer complaints and ensure effective resolution.
14. Conduct periodic quality audits on products, displays, hygiene, and service delivery.
15. Oversee training plans, development programs, and coaching sessions for the entire branch team.
16. Ensure disciplinary procedures are carried out professionally and fairly.

18. Oversee stock levels, ordering, receiving of goods, and storage procedures.
19. Ensure proper handling of fresh items (dairy, butchery, vegetables) and adherence to food safety standards.
20. Approve merchandising standards and ensure all shelves, displays, and showrooms are full, tidy, and visually aligned with company guidelines.
21. Ensure internal transfers are properly documented and executed.
22. Ensure the entire branch is safe, clean, and operationally efficient always.
23. Oversee maintenance needs for all equipment, tools, and facility-related issues.
24. Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and environmental health regulations.
25. Conduct regular audits related to temperature, storage, safety equipment, and emergency readiness.
26. Suggest new product lines, operational ideas, and improvements for all departments.
27. Coordinate with HQ departments (HR, Finance, Procurement, Quality, Marketing) to ensure perfect execution of policies, rules and regulations and standards.
28. Lead the branch through change management, new system rollouts, or new business initiatives.
29. Ensure warehouse orders are placed timely to keep all showroom shelves fully stocked and visually aligned with company standards.
